The 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off was a tremendous success.

The Downtown Leesburg Business Association is having their 8th annual Chili Cook-Off contest on November 3, 2007. Last year over 1500 people came to taste over 30 different types of chili made by local businesses. This is a great time for you to advertise your business, whether it's a restaurant office, hair salon, retail shop or an individual by entering to cook chili in the cook-off. All are welcome to show their talents and make chili.

With your entry fee, you will also receive a tote filled with goodies donated by Downtown Merchants and two Chili Cook-Off T-shirts. Winners will have bragging rights for one year for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. There is also a prize for best decorated booth.

If you would like to participate in the Chili Cook-Off, please complete this application. Once you have paid your entry fee, you will get to choose where your booth space will be located. Cooking starts at 8:00 a.m. and burners are turned off by 5:45 p.m. The tasting starts at 6:00 p.m.

Prizes to be given out will be:

• $500.00 for 1st Place
• $300.00 for 2nd Place
• $200.00 for 3rd Place
• Best Decorated Booth

All booth spaces are on a first come first serve bases. Register early to get the space you want.

Entertainment will be in Towne Square.
